Binoova is a non-custodial SaaS platform that digitises Akawo, Esusu and Susu operations and powers Pay Small Small (BNPL) for Nigerian merchants — without ever holding a single naira.
Three pillars that guide every product decision, every Nigerian partnership, and every line of code we write.
To digitise the trust between Nigerian buyers and sellers by providing simple, accessible technology that organises Akawo, Esusu and Pay Small Small payments — without ever touching the money.
We are infrastructure, not an intermediary.
To be the invisible financial infrastructure that powers every informal economy transaction across Nigeria — transforming how Nigerian people trust, trade, and save money daily.
Invisible infrastructure. Visible impact.
To bring dignity, transparency, and professional tools to the millions of Akawo collectors, Esusu operators, and Pay Small Small merchants across Nigeria who have always operated on trust alone.
Technology that serves the underserved.
Binoova was born from a simple, frustrating observation: Nigeria's informal economy — worth trillions of naira — was still running on paper notebooks, handshakes, and memory. Akawo collectors in Port Harcourt, Esusu operators in Aba, and merchants across Stadium Road and Mile 1 Market were losing clients, money, and credibility not because they lacked skill, but because they lacked tools.
Founded by a team of Nigerian entrepreneurs who grew up watching family members run savings groups with nothing more than a biro and a ledger, we knew this problem intimately — from the inside. We set out not to replace these operators, but to arm them with the same professional infrastructure that banks and fintechs use, at a price that makes sense for their scale.
Today, Binoova processes transactions through our non-custodial architecture via Squad (by GTCO/HabariPay), where every naira goes directly to the operator's bank account. We are the invisible engine — and we intend to stay that way.
These are not aspirational statements — they are the rules we hold ourselves to every single day in Nigeria.
We will never hold your naira. Our architecture routes every payment directly to operators via Squad. This is a technical commitment, not a marketing promise.
Every SMS, every dashboard, every subdomain carries the operator's name — not Binoova's. Clients see your business. We stay deliberately invisible.
If a 55-year-old market woman in Onitsha can't use it without a tutorial, we haven't done our job. Simplicity is not a design preference — it is the product itself.
Digital records, automated SMS, and consistency ratings exist for one reason: to replace the fragile trust of memory with the durable trust of verifiable data.
USSD access (*737#, *901# etc.), affordable subscriptions, and support for all Nigerian banks ensure that digitisation is not a privilege for smartphone owners only.
We grow when our Nigerian operators grow. Our pricing model, product roadmap, and support systems are built around their long-term success — not short-term metrics.
